New ways to engage with great architecture

Ben Adams Architects

Del Hossain, MD of Adrem Group with James Borley, Ben Adams Architects.

The judges said: Ben Adams Architects has a great and lively Twitter account that gives a real sense of the personality of the firm and a diagram by John Cage posted on its Instagram account says a lot about their approach to social media which is joined-up, bold and original. We particularly liked the winner’s tone on Twitter that makes it a practice you’d really want to work with.

The Modern House

Emma Mansell, The Modern House

The judges said: This is a website for lovers of modern architecture and it’s written for lovers. Bright and interesting copy is packed full of inspiration and information and good enough to be a blog never mind its primary purpose as an estate agent.

The judges said: “We felt the winner’s home page was welcoming, accessible and the use of photography high quality, impactful and dramatic. It also gives a good sense of the sheer breadth of the practice’s work and involvement in industry issues. The navigation is a very simple row of buttons along the top of the page that makes things nice and easy.
